How to Use Mapillai Samba Chapati Mix

Ingredients:

  • Mapillai Samba Chapati Mix – 1 cup

  • Hot water – as needed to form a soft dough

  • Salt – to taste (optional)

  • Oil or ghee – 1 tsp (optional for softer texture)

Method:

  1. Mix the Flour:
Add 1 cup of Mapillai Samba Chapati Mix into a mixing bowl. Add a pinch of salt if desired.

  2. Add Hot Water Gradually:
Pour in hot water little by little and mix with a spoon or spatula (initially). Once slightly cool, knead it into a smooth, soft dough.

  3. Rest the Dough:
Cover and rest for 10–15 minutes to allow the flour to absorb moisture.

  4. Roll the Chapatis:
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball on a floured surface into a round chapati using a rolling pin.

  5. Cook the Chapatis:
Heat a tawa or pan and cook each chapati on both sides until brown spots appear. Apply ghee or oil if desired.

  6. Serve Hot:
Enjoy with chutney, curry, dal, or yogurt.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Pair with vegetable sabzi, sambar, or curd

  • Can be used for wraps or lunchbox rolls
