How to Use Karuppu Kavuni Chapati Mix

Ingredients:

  • Karuppu Kavuni Chapati Mix – 1 cup

  • Hot water – as needed

  • Salt – to taste (optional)

  • Oil or ghee – 1 tsp (optional, for softness)

Method:

  1. Mix the flour:
In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of Karuppu Kavuni Chapati Mix. Add a pinch of salt if desired.

  2. Add hot water:
Gradually pour in hot water (not boiling) and mix with a spoon initially, then knead into a soft dough using your hands.

Tip: Hot water helps soften the flour and makes rolling easier.

  3. Rest the dough:
Cover and let the dough rest for 10–15 minutes to absorb moisture.

  4. Roll the chapatis:
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a flat, even circle using a rolling pin. Dust with a little flour if sticky.

  5. Cook the chapatis:
Heat a tawa or skillet. Cook each chapati on both sides until light brown spots appear. Apply a little ghee or oil if desired.

  6. Serve warm:
Enjoy with curries, chutneys, or yogurt!

Serving Suggestions:

  • Pair with vegetable kurma, dhal, chutney, or pickles

  • Can also be used to make wraps or roll-ups
